  1. Welcome to the EF Emergency Board

    The Emergency Board is all about collaboration and communication. Take this short tour to quickly learn about the available functionality. Good to KnowInformation is updated in real-time for everybody working on the emergency.You can open the board from Android and iOS smartphones and tablets too. The Emergency Board works best in Google Chrome and Safari browsers.


  2. Find students

    Use the pre-filtered views to quickly access a list of students under 18, in Host Family, in Residence and so on. Good to Know'Others in center' are students who checked-in but are not in Host Family or Residence. They could have their own accommodation or no accommodation at all. 'Not in center' students did not check-in or don't have a current course but they might be in an EF accommodation or did not travel back to their countries yet.


  3. Assign tasks

    Select students and assign them to your team or to Sales for follow up


  4. Reach out to students and Host Families

    Send messages to students or Host Families and ask them if they are safe. Good to Know'Notice to students' will send a MyEF notice and an email to students. If you "ask students if they are safe" they will be able to choose 'I am safe' or 'I need help' and add further comments. See here: http://screencast.com/t/Ahqv6hGn 'Email to HF' will ask families to choose 'All students and I are safe' or 'I need help'. Further comments can also be added.


  5. Receive replies from students and Host Families

    MyEF notice, email and SMS replies from students or Host Families will appear here. Good to KnowClick on the X to make the notification disappear from your and your colleagues' screen. Click on the notification to see the communication history.


  6. Check information

    Click on the student name to access details about student and Host Family communication, see contact details and check booking information. Good to KnowOnce you open a student you can move to the next one without going back to the grid.


  7. Mark safe

    Select students and mark them safe. You need to enter a comment.
